“If I could talk to my younger self, I would just say that the path to great

things are filled with a lot of stumbles, suffering, and challenges along

the way. But if you have the right attitude and know that hard times will

pass – and you get up each time – you will reach your destination”

Hello Folks!

Now, this is what I would call good luck. I have been yearning to write something on a topic like this for ages. And here I get an opportunity to do so. The statement itself gives its answer. Body size does not matter to rock good clothes. I will discuss, why it does not matter in the following paragraphs based on my own experiences. So let’s start.

As a child, I was more into playing and athlete stuff but as I grew up my focus shifted more towards studying and work on the laptop and all. All-time sitting and very less physical activities. Until one day, I looked at myself in the mirror. I was startled to see my image. That very moment, I realized, if I will not love myself who else would.

So with certain adjustments in my lifestyle, I was back to my good old self. What I want to reiterate here is that stop caring about what people are going to say or what your partner is going to say about your body; you should be satisfied with it and opt for ways to keep it in a way that is healthy and not problematic for you or people around you.

Secondly, you should have a positive image of yourself. I am sure you must have heard a lot about vibes and how they work. Yes, that is true. We all have a certain aura around us. The people in our surroundings pick up this aura or vibe or energy or light whatever you want to categorize it as.

They are going to look at you the way, you want them to. So even if you have the body size of a wrestler, yet you think yourself no less than a movie star, people will treat you like one.

Thirdly, you should always wear what you are comfortable with and what looks nice on you. Dressing according to your body shape is the best way to rock.

If you dress up in a way that does not suit your gait, you definitely will feel the odd man out.

However, if you dress up rather simply, no matter what your body size is, you will rock. You need to find out your style or signature according to your body type.

Also, be open to the dressing and clothes of other cultures. You never know their custom stitched clothes look fit on you rather than the ones you use.

Fourthly, I believe nobody should kill themselves to be someone they are not.…is-where-i-exist/

You may feel good about yourself for some time but in the longer run, you will become frustrated with what you have become.

The man-made appearance comes with a price but the appearance gifted by your Creator can never be undermined. You should always remember that.

The world is a small place. We encounter a lot of people in our day-to-day life and learn a lot from them both consciously and unconsciously.

What, I have learned so far is that Heaven has made a partner for everyone.

They might come soon or late in life but surely will come. And for him/her body size would not matter as he/she would love you for what you are and not how you look in terms of a body.

The soul is the one that needs to be beautiful, appearances and people are short-lived.

People remember us in terms of our deeds and good heart. No one will remember us for what kind of body we had or how satisfied they were with us. So, I will end, with John Keats’s note that beauty is truth and truth is beauty. and that is what one needs to remember in this world.

Think about it. Until next time stay safe and healthy.

Hello Folks!

As a child, I often wondered what has positive thinking got to do with life? Everyone around me focused on the saying of health is wealth. I always took it for granted, thinking that with health comes wealth.

As I grew older and matured, I analyzed people around me who thought were wealthy but were not healthy.

And it was a punch back with a big question of WHY? From here on, my quest for answering this WHY began. Today, I am going to answer this WHY? And how positive thinking draws us towards making healthy food choices/healthy snacks.

You see when we say that health is wealth; it is not something we can measure with a yardstick rather by posing questions to people regarding their health and use of certain medical instruments, are we in a position to know where they stand.

As Aesop says, “A man is known by the company he keeps”. Our bodies are known by the attitude we possess towards life as well as the kind of healthy snack we consume or the healthy lifestyle we maintain.

We are healthy when we have a positive attitude towards life. We have a different lens of looking at things. This lens differs from person to person. People with a healthy lifestyle are often the ones, who emit positive vibes.

They have this aura that captivates us. These people have developed a whole system of healthy living over decades that captivate us and motivate us towards healthy eating. Let us have a look at some of the healthy snacks/food that make us enjoy life.…healthy-and-wealthy/

Our positive thinking leads us towards making healthy choices in terms of food snacks. We prefer cooking at home, experimenting with different ingredients that suit our taste buds.

Just imagine, your favorite fruit or berry is frozen a night before and blended in milk along with a handful of nuts.

A thoroughly, divine experience, I would say. You can either use it in the form of a smoothie or turn it into a frozen pop.

Secondly, since we are living in a fast pace age, we prefer to take along healthy go snacks.

A Granola bar or fruity flapjacks or even oats combined with dark chocolate is a delight. It is healthy as well as full of nutrients.

Thirdly, consuming fiber can prevent us from many diseases and may help us live longer. It also prevents us from heart disease, risk of type 2 diabetes, prevents us from certain cancers, and provides us with a natural detoxification.

Fourthly, the inclusion of veggies, carrots, cucumbers, kale, tomato, etc., makes a healthy food choice/snack. A bowl full of nutrients will not only keep us healthy but will also boost our energy levels to carry out day-to-day activities.

And lastly, positive thinking leads us towards boosting our immunity against diseases that in normal circumstances might kill us. Positive thinking is a blessing in disguise. If we want to lead a positive life, we need to take control of our lives and take every step to lead the life we desire.

When we are conscious about our health, we will definitely make amendments in our life to make them progressive and healthy.

Positive thinking works as a third eye thus enlightening us and opening up our minds towards a high standard of living and maintaining a healthy eating style. If we are positive, we tend to be around positive people and tend to help troubled souls. We inculcate the habit of smiling, singing, and reading in our day-to-day lives.

It is our positive vibes that people pick and are inspired in return. Thus, in reality, positive thinking helps us in making healthy food choices in life.

Think about it. Until next time, stay safe and healthy.

Hello Folks!

Over the years, I  have viewed a tremendous shift regarding the moral degeneration of society and how it is impacting the youth and the aged alike at large. Something, I have been wanting to discuss for a long time. Today, I will unveil some of the stimulating factors in this regard. So, let’s start.

The foremost stimulating factor responsible for the degeneration of society is the unrealistic ideals about life. There is no single individual in this world who has an ideal life. Everyone has to go through certain struggles to get where he/she might be. There will always be some deficiency in one’s life one way or the other.

The youth and aged alike fail to understand this fact of life and are quick in making hasty decisions leading to a degeneration of society.

Another stimulating factor leading to the degeneration of society is the lust to get wealthy quickly. This is another stimulating factor that has affected the youth greatly. They think by marrying an elderly rich woman or vice versa will solve their problem of getting rich quickly.

However, in reality, that is not the case scenario. Not everyone is interested in getting married or looking for affairs or being hooked up with men or women just for pleasure or being married at all. There is so much more to do in life rather than being on the outlook for this. Dramas are Dramas. They don’t add value to real lives. It is not rocket science to understand this.

The lack of blood bonding/ relationships between parents and children and between the siblings now is another stimulating factor leading to a degeneration of society. Parents have a very important role to play in this scenario. No, one said bringing up children was easy. However, as a parent, you cannot put your responsibility on a caregiver or attendant to do your job. You need to be there for your children.

This is what they will learn for the future when they grow up and then you have to be prepared for what comes your way. Earning just money is not everything.

There was a time when the raising of a brow was sufficient and the children knew their place but now the changing times are making parents fearful of their own children due to the degenerating values that they are picking up.

It is a scary situation that will lead to further degradation of society and lives at large.

Yet, another stimulating factor is the use of drugs, very common among the youth. By intaking such drugs, the person is always on high, thinking one might achieve the unbelievable. So many lives have gone to dogs due to the use of such drugs, yet there is no check or control. All this is adding to the further degeneration of society.

With the ever-going entertainment and freedom to access, the use of media has turned out to be a weapon in the hands of the youth at large and it is greatly adding to the degeneration of moral values. The poor lot called youth simply fails to see the repercussions of all this at hand and falls prey to this fancy tool.

The focus of only me to has contributed a lot to the degeneration of society. When every individual focus will be on self and not whole, the results will be very alarming. This rat race of getting all has affected the self of the individual to a great extent.

In today’s world, everyone is thinking about oneself without stopping for a moment and thinking about others. If people at the large start thinking as we, a great many problems can resolve and the youth be saved. It’s never too late to change only if one realizes the cost at the end.

The inability to vent one feeling, the right way is adding to the moral degenerating of society and greatly affecting the youth. Mostly, the youth thinks talking and acting dirty would help them achieve what they want in life. Sorry, to break the ice, but such acts and talks only lead to more degeneration.

The vent to feelings and emotions needs a proper platform and medium. Online chats and bombardment of unwanted feelings will do no good. Momentarily, you will feel nice but at the end of the day, you will be the same.

Addressing the root is the need for time. If you want to nip the evil in the bud, you need to address the root cause of degenerating values in society. The youth of the time needs a lot of mentoring and guidance in the right direction to understand the repercussion of their actions on either the individual or the society at large.

Life is not very complex if you understand the meaning of it and can interpret it in the light of wisdom and religion. You will always have a path of good values and bad values. It is up to you how and what you choose. Think about it before it is too late.

Until next time, stay safe and healthy.

Hello Folks!

People often ask me how I began my journey of writing. So, today, I will tell you how it all began. Let’s start.

I have always found expression in one form or another. Being creative and sensitive, I always sought refuge in painting.

And in doing so, poured my heart out on the canvas. But I always felt that something was lacking and I was not able to communicate myself.

This, I witnessed on different platforms when people used to ask me the meaning of what I had drawn/painted. I had never liked the idea of explaining a painting.

It’s more about the feelings, emotions associated with that piece. And I want the audience to experience it and interpret it. And tell me what they think?

And frankly, most people in Pakistan don’t understand creative work, let alone the biases they have associated with a certain school of thought.

Anyway, all this has never stopped me from achieving what I want.

To keep moving and communicating better, I started exploring platforms where I could write and explore my skills.

Back in 2015, I came across a media agency, where I had the opportunity to write on the topic of Terrorism(PIC quoted above).

My article was published in Sunday Times, Pakistan.A turning point in my journey of freelancing.

Trusting my guts, I didn’t continue with the media agency and did not pursue further with them.

The overall experience had given me enough know-how on the working environment for any female writer.

I was utterly disgusted with the mentality of the people working in the media industry. I went in solitude to work on skills, I thought would aid in the future.

So, I invested in myself in different fields and after a few years, I was mentally prepared and more matured to enter the field of writing.

It is then, I developed a WordPress website and started experimenting with the acquired skills on it. I started in 2019 and from that day onward, I have never looked back.

In my journey, I meet amazing people on a day-to-day basis and I have learned a lot from them.

I am indebted to them for what they have taught me along the way. They have proved to be the rightful well-wishers.

Am open to sharing my knowledge with everyone and not for once I think about competition or any of the sought.

And look forward to like-minded people who can add value to what I am doing and want to do. And learn more if needed and as required.

Life is a  blessing. Make the most of it and enjoy the blessings as they come along.

Think about it. Until next time, stay safe and Healthy.

Happy Reading Folks!

National days are of utmost importance for a nation. They not only educate the new generation about their glorious history but also pay tribute to the sacrifices of their forefathers.

Celebration of a day that has some history attached to it should be done with great respect.

One such day for Pakistan is 23rd March. Do You all know why we celebrate this date? Pakistani consider Pakistan Resolution Day a memorable day in the history of Pakistan’s creation.

Let’s discuss the reasons behind celebrating this Day as Pakistan day.

23rd March was the day when the respectable leaders of the Muslim community proposed the idea to have a separate homeland for Muslims.

Moreover, it was the day when leaders made the Muslim community realize that they are different from the Hindu community and therefore they should not live with them.

They should demand a separate place for themselves. Somewhere they can practice their Islamic preachings freely. Indeed they wanted to live their lives according to the Quran and Sunnah.

Allama Iqbal was the first leader who gave the idea to have a separate nation for Muslims. And later on, other respectable leaders also encouraged his idea and convinced Muslims to demand an independent country for themselves.

These respectable Muslim leaders presented the idea of Pakistan resolution on 23rd March 1940 in the Muslim league Conference held at Minto Park Lahore.

The main aspects of the Resolution were that Muslims and Hindu are two different communities. They have different religions and distinct cultures. Therefore, they can not live together.

And secondly, Muslims must have a separate place for them where they can easily practice their Islamic Preachings.

The historical speech of our great leader Quaid e Azam is ample proof of Pakistan’s creation. As said by him;

“Hindus and Muslims belong to two different religions. They are diverse in ideologies, social, traditions, and literature. Besides, they cannot marry or even eat with each other. Furthermore, they relate to two distinct civilizations. Their visions about life are different. Hindus and Muslims originated their inspiration from different sources. They have different epics and different heroes. To chain together two such nations under a single state must lead to the demolition of the two”.

In other words,  we desire our people to develop to the greatest spiritual, cultural, economic, social, and political life in a manner that we suppose best.

Based on Quaid-E-Azam’s views and ideas A. K Fazal-ul-Haq presented the historical resolution. Subsequently, we recall this event as Pakistan Resolution.

The Muslims didn’t give up the idea of independence and with continuous struggle and efforts, Pakistan came into being on 14th Aug 1947.

Pakistan Resolution proves to be the basis for the creation of Pakistan. And Pakistanis celebrate this day with great enthusiasm each year. ‎
