I often feel happy when I see a smiling face/Happy Children. Have you ever wondered the reason behind a smiling face? Today, I aim to discuss the reasons behind a smiling face. So, let’s start.
The first reason behind a smiling face/happy children is a conducive environment. Children are prone to be happier when they have happy parents.
Parents who are cribbing and fighting all the time may not have happy children.
The second reason behind a smiling face/happy children depends on the amount of time you are willing to invest in your children. Growing up children require more of your time and attention.
As parents, if you want to see them smiling and happy, start sowing the seed from this moment. So you can enjoy the fruit in the future.
The third reason behind a smiling face/happy children is the availability of choices in life. The more you as a parent are open to options for your children, the happier are the children.
The results depend on you, my friend.
The fourth reason behind a smiling face / happy children is to listen to your children patiently. They are curious by nature. At times they will pose you questions that will blow your head off.
No need to be mad at them, listen to them with patience and try to answer their questions. It will only strengthen your bond with them. Children need the surety, who to come to when they are in need.
And that’s what you want. Right.
The fifth reason behind smiling faces/happy children is understanding your children. There are all types of children; easy-going, medium, and difficult ones. You need to understand their requirements and act according to their nature.
That my friend is called parenting.
The sixth reason behind smiling faces/ happy children is how you reward them when they make you happy. What matters is your response to their achievement not what you give them.
They are children. They can be happy with just a hug or applause or candy. You do not have to burden yourself financially to show them you are happy with them.
Big rewards, you may want to save for big occasions such as Birthdays or family get together or promotions, or even Christmas.
And Lastly, Value their friends as you value your children. Do keep an open eye on their company, talk about their friends, and do try to establish contact with their parents.
In the end, I would like to say that all children are born with a smiling face. It is we who alone can turn them into monsters. We need to curtail the monsters in our being and let them have a happier childhood and a smiling future.https://www.sabahataamir.com/how-parents-infl…gh-their-actions/
Have you ever wondered, why do we, as humans are able to remember colours, shapes and even see the bigger picture to see where each piece fits in?
You guessed it right.I am talking about Jigsaws/Puzzles.
Today, I aim to talk about Puzzles/Jigsaws and the benefits that lie in solving it.So let’s start.
Firstly, solving Puzzles/Jigsaws are a way of reinforcing existing connections in our brain cells. This in turn helps in improving our short term memory.
Secondly, Jigsaws/Puzzles are all about patterns. Our surrounding is filled with pattern.
Puzzles helps our brain to grow and develop by finding the hidden patterns in objects lying around us.
Thirdly, it improves our ability of visual perception. The way we see our surroundings, absorb information, then organize it and try to make a sense out of it.
Like reading a book.We look at the words in a book and try to make sense of the story.
Fourthly, Puzzle solving hones coordination in humans especially when it comes to decision making and team playing.
Fifthly, through Jigsaw solving, the critical thinking develops which helps in improving the listening skills, communication and problem solving skills.
Sixthly, beside a good exercise, the release of Dopamine is a benefit for humans when they solve puzzles. It gives great pleasure to us.
Thus, impacting our concentration, motivation and memory. In a way, the production of Dopamime resets our brain for the greater good.
Seventh, solving Puzzles heightens the creativity in an individual.Making puzzles might seem an easy task but there is so much creativity involved in the whole process.
The more challenging the puzzle the more creativity is heightened. Creativity heightens thinking, enhances self-esteem, and reduces stress.
Lastly, solving puzzles help in the overall brain activity giving peace and tranquilty to the mind as a whole.
It leads to mental health and wellness of all individuals.
In the end, I would say that puzzle solving is a great activity and should be made a part of daily activities.
As an individual, it has so many benefits;if used in groups one might be able to achieve great heights of success.Think about the wonders it can unveil.
How nice it is to celebrate one’s happiness among loved ones.
This need is felt mostly in cases when one cannot celebrate due to the events that are taking place in the surroundings.
Today, I aim to discuss the Eid scenario in Pakistan and how it is being celebrated in these times. So let’s start.
Firstly, Eid is a festivity that is celebrated with a grandeur after observing 30 Days of Fast along with prayers and duas for forgiveness.
It is celebrated with the buying of new clothes, jewellery, shoes, and other accessories which make the Eid festivities special.
Secondly, all loved and dear ones gather on this day to their relative’s homes to enjoy the celebration with the traditional sweets and foods.
What a joy it is to eat sheer khurma and kheer along with the spicy Biryani. Oh God, even writing makes my mouth water.
Thirdly, what makes this day more special is the money/Eidi given by the elders to the young.
This is a token of their love for their children, relatives, and acquaintances.
The amount of the Eidi, as we call it here in Pakistan does not matter. What matters is the love and affection that is associated with it.
Fourthly, is the social interaction with friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. And this love and affection are transferred to each separately.
Fifthly, people also travel to a different part of the country just to enjoy their Eid.
And also to witness Eid festivity in different regions and groups.
In the present scenario, most people observed social distancing this time to be safe and keep their loved ones safe too.
Sixthly, people did interact with their loved ones, family, and friends but not by hugging them directly rather through skype, what’s app, and Zoom calls.
A bit different though, yet not undermining the spirit of Eid.
Seventh, most people did not buy new clothes this Eid not because they could not afford them.
Rather stand with the ones who have lost their means of livelihood due to COVID-19.
This my friend, is the true spirit of Eid.
Eighthly, these Eid people have exclusively opened their hearts for the ones in need rather than focussing on the celebration among the better lot.
And lastly, on this Eid, people have employed new ways of making their Eid productive. They are flying kites on their rooftops.
Though maintaining social distancing, still their hearts are in line with each other.
In the end, I would like to say that these times are a test of our patience and determination to pull through.
We may in the future have many more Eids but the lessons we will learn now will go a long way.
Think about it. Until next time, stay safe and healthy.
