23rd March Pakistan Day History

SENTIMENTS WITH 23RD MARCH

Hello Folks!

Have you ever wondered about the significance of Dates? Well, today, I will lay my focus on the 23rd of March and how this date, is celebrated around the world. So let’s start.

Most Historians and die-hard fans are familiar with the significance of the 23rd, March celebrated in Pakistan and other parts of the world.

But for those who do not know about it, I would recommend you to open up google and search about it.https://www.sabahataamir.com/pretext-of-celeb…ing-Pakistan-day/

This is for many Asians living abroad as well. Anyways, just to give you a birds-eye view, a lot of sentiments and untold stories are associated with this day.

In Pakistan, this day is declared as a National holiday and is celebrated with great decoration and valor by the civil and military parades.

There are gun salutes early in the morning in Islamabad and provincial capitals. Also, the flag is hoisted from all government departments and buildings.

But the real joy is seen in the faces of young children who just are fascinated with the flying of planes and gunshots in the background. Their smiles are just mesmerizing.

With the ongoing economic crisis in day-to-day lives, such holidays come as a blessing in disguise where one can put their sorrows aside and enjoy a day with full zeal.

Similarly, the elderly lot, too have their stories to tell regarding Pakistan day. Most of the stories will leave pangs of pain in your heart but to these people, it is worth it.

And if given an opportunity, they will go through the same. A huge salute to them.

As I traveled to the inner parts of the city, I had the chance of witnessing great joy in the play and singing of the young running after the sound of the jets flying by.

As if it was a kite and they were in position to capture it. A thoroughly mesmerizing experience.

In the end, I had the opportunity of visiting a home. The simplicity and values, I witnessed there made me proud to be an Asian. Such values, I haven’t seen in ages.

Time and again, I am reminded of the roots we have, which are the ones that make us who we are.

And the more close, one is to one’s root, the better it is for all.

Keeping in view, our Health as well, this day is celebrated worldly as an American Diabetes Association Alert Day. For all Diabetics, keep a close watch on your sugar levels. You too mean a lot to us.

Similarly, in some parts of the world, it is celebrated as Toast Day and even as Chia day. So much good to offer on a specific date.

However, this does not mean that we should only celebrate these days on specific dates the essences should be kept alive even on regular days.

Be proactive and visit places and people you want to without bringing in barriers of caste and classes and all the bla blah in between.

Think about it. Until next time stay safe and healthy.
