DEGENERATING VALUES AND
THE YOUTH
Hello Folks!
Over the years, IÂ have viewed a tremendous shift regarding the moral degeneration of society and how it is impacting the youth and the aged alike at large. Something, I have been wanting to discuss for a long time. Today, I will unveil some of the stimulating factors in this regard. So, let’s start.
IDEALS ABOUT LIFE
The foremost stimulating factor responsible for the degeneration of society is the unrealistic ideals about life. There is no single individual in this world who has an ideal life. Everyone has to go through certain struggles to get where he/she might be. There will always be some deficiency in one’s life one way or the other.
The youth and aged alike fail to understand this fact of life and are quick in making hasty decisions leading to a degeneration of society.
LUST TO GET WEALTHY
Another stimulating factor leading to the degeneration of society is the lust to get wealthy quickly. This is another stimulating factor that has affected the youth greatly. They think by marrying an elderly rich woman or vice versa will solve their problem of getting rich quickly.
However, in reality, that is not the case scenario. Not everyone is interested in getting married or looking for affairs or being hooked up with men or women just for pleasure or being married at all. There is so much more to do in life rather than being on the outlook for this. Dramas are Dramas. They don’t add value to real lives. It is not rocket science to understand this.
BLOOD BONDS/RELATIONSHIPS
The lack of blood bonding/ relationships between parents and children and between the siblings now is another stimulating factor leading to a degeneration of society. Parents have a very important role to play in this scenario.No, one said bringing up children was easy. However, as a parent, you cannot put your responsibility on a caregiver or attendant to do your job. You need to be there for your children.
This is what they will learn for the future when they grow up and then you have to be prepared for what comes your way. Earning just money is not everything.
NO/LOOSE PARENTAL HOLD
There was a time when the raising of a brow was sufficient and the children knew their place but now the changing times are making parents fearful of their own children due to the degenerating values that they are picking up.
It is a scary situation that will lead to further degradation of society and lives at large.
USE OF DRUGS
Yet, another stimulating factor is the use of drugs, very common among the youth. By intaking such drugs, the person is always on high, thinking one might achieve the unbelievable. So many lives have gone to dogs due to the use of such drugs, yet there is no check or control. All this is adding to the further degeneration of society.
MEDIA, AS A WEAPON
With the ever-going entertainment and freedom to access, the use of media has turned out to be a weapon in the hands of the youth at large and it is greatly adding to the degeneration of moral values. The poor lot called youth simply fails to see the repercussions of all this at hand and falls prey to this fancy tool.
ONLY ME
The focus of only me to has contributed a lot to the degeneration of society. When every individual focus will be on self and not whole, the results will be very alarming. This rat race of getting all has affected the self of the individual to a great extent.
In today’s world, everyone is thinking about oneself without stopping for a moment and thinking about others. If people at the large start thinking as we, a great many problems can resolve and the youth be saved. It’s never too late to change only if one realizes the cost at the end.
VENT:
The inability to vent one feeling, the right way is adding to the moral degenerating of society and greatly affecting the youth. Mostly, the youth thinks talking and acting dirty would help them achieve what they want in life. Sorry, to break the ice, but such acts and talks only lead to more degeneration.
The vent to feelings and emotions needs a proper platform and medium. Online chats and bombardment of unwanted feelings will do no good. Momentarily, you will feel nice but at the end of the day, you will be the same.
THE ROOT
Addressing the root is the need for time. If you want to nip the evil in the bud, you need to address the root cause of degenerating values in society. The youth of the time needs a lot of mentoring and guidance in the right direction to understand the repercussion of their actions on either the individual or the society at large.
Life is not very complex if you understand the meaning of it and can interpret it in the light of wisdom and religion. You will always have a path of good values and bad values. It is up to you how and what you choose. Think about it before it is too late.

THRUSTING
Hello Folks!
Have you ever had the feeling of being Thrust upon something you don’t want.How do you deal with it?
Today, I will share a few things that really irritates especially when you do not want to have it in the first place. And also how to deal with it. So let’s start.
We often witness Thrusting in shopping malls where the sale person will do everything to make you buy their products.I am not against marketing strategies but I, don’t approve the way in which it is imparted.
Why drag oneself so low to get it sold. If you have a quality product, it would be sold automatically. You don’t have to sell yourself along with the product.
Secondly, are the make-up shops where this Thrust is seen at its height. Hardly, have I ever seen a make up shop where one goes and comes out without buying anything unnecessary.It’s a cult we are practicing for long.
Seriously, do you think, we really need all that make up for a single cause.Like if you go for a concealer only, you will end up buying the primer and the foundation along with the eye palatte an other accessories.Why?
The make up industry is so good at selling their products that you only know about the effects once you are out of the shop. Such a drama.
Thirdly, are the clothing shops.You are simply dazzled by seeing all that variety in the market.
And while you are deciding what mode of action you should follow, there comes someone to use their tactics of selling and thrusting upon you what they want you to buy.
I would rather say interesting selling tactics.Some will use the phrases of Literate clothes, other would coinage it with a persons name and say, wear this and your neighbour X, would be jealous.
And the most interesting thing is that sometimes the names they will use will be of the person who you think is jealous of your clothing.Its a relief for some to hear such phrases.
Fourthly, you face the Thrusting in beauty saloons.The most money minting industry, I would say.
You go for a single service and come back with a whole new look; obviously not for free rather spending tons of money on things you can easily do on your own at the comfort of your own home.
Here, too the sales person are using their tactics to brain wash the clients and mint money out of their pockets for simple services.
Fifthly, are the jewellery shops where Thrusting takes place in such a way that you , yourself do not know what is being done to you.
You only know that you want that particular thing or jewel and your mind fails to work and looks for alternatives.
Sixth, are the Gyms, where Thrusting is seen at its peak. One goes to the gym for a specific purpose but here too, one is extorted to the maximum.If plan A, can work well for the client, still plan B and C would be Thrusted upon the client as a compulsion.
And the client would be convinced to the extent of being totally brainless. What else can I say.
Seventh, are people belonging to institutions offering various courses. Here, you will face a lot of Thrusting.
You want to learn a specific course but you will be offered multiple bundles. These bundles will only waste your time and money without adding anything positive to your learning.
So be really alert when you are being Thrusted upon such bundles. Or else you know what will happen.
And Lastly, are the medical professionals. You go for the treatment of a single disease but are diagnose with multiple ones.How?
In order to diagnose you with what you already know, you will have to give a zillion tests before they can diagnose you and give you their prescription.
And believe me, you will be convinced to your gut what they are saying is true.They are the Philosopher’s king who know all.
In the end I would like to say that dear friends , you have a sound mind that works very well.If you can read this blog, you can easily know when you are being Thrusted upon.
You have the power of walking out of it without any external help.
Let no one tell you what will look good on you or how much accessories you need to be happy or even Thrust themselves upon you.

BONDING BETWEEN SIBLINGS
Hello Folks!
We are so struck in our day to day chores that we forget about the little gestures that make life worth living.This keeps on reminding me of Words Worth poem; ” we have no time to stand and stare…”
So here,I am today to talk about the times we spent as siblings.The bonding/relationship between a brother and sister is one of its kind.A beautiful yet sacred relation.Yet it varies; sibling to sibling.
A good bonding/relationship is always based on the people in your surrounding.If one gets positive vibes from the surroundings, the relationships will be of a different kind.
If there are negatives vibes in the surroundings, so would it effect the bonding/relationships.
Let us try to dive deep between the bonding/relationship of a brother and sister.I have often observed that relationship has a lot to do with number placements within a core family.
A boy who is elder than the other siblings will altogether act in a different way.More responsible,independent, caring and organized.This is because of the models he would be having in front of him.
On the other hand, a boy who is second, third or even fourth in placement may act in a more different way as compared to the older siblings. More dependent,loving, caring and protective.
Whatever the number placements, all brothers have their own way of expressing their love and care for their sisters.
Most of the time they are observed being fighting on trivial issues such as why did she take my car? or This is my teddy bear.And the sisters would say that mommy, daddy bought it for all.
This is the time when their arguing skills are developing and it is best not to intervene.Let them come up with a solution.If they need your assistance, they will definitely approach you.
Till then sit back and relax;but do keep your ears open just in case things get out of hand.
Then, i have seen brothers and sisters teasing one another.At times, it is really fun to see where do they get such ideas.We are talking about our future generations.
Here, too if you observe,you will find a lot of insight about their behaviors and how you, as a parent need to tackle them.
Often, siblings are seen spending quality time together by watching their favorite TV shows or You Tube videos or even some movie.And this is how they are bonding good relationships in the years to come.
But, what I, enjoy the most is their looking at past time games as a reminder of the times they used to have.They would indulge in it with the same zest and zeal as they used to when they were children.
Pick up any board game of that time and see the reaction of your children. I am sure you will enjoy watching as much I do.
These are simple pleasures of life and long lasting bonding’s that remain long after we are gone.
Every child and his or her relationship with their sibling is unique.As a parent, we need to foster their bonds in the most productive way without undermining the other.
They may be offended with us at times for not behaving in the way they thought us to.That my friend, is called parenthood.We all trial and experience before we learn the right tactics.
In the end, I would like to say that enjoy these bonding’s while you can.Bring out the best in yourself and others.Praise those around you in a productive way.You never know whose life depends on your single word of praise or motivation.
