GRANDPARENTS
Hello Folks!
How is the feeling of being loved and wanted generation after generation? It is a great feeling. Especially for those whose grandparents are alive.
In today’s busy lives, most of us have forgotten even if they exist. Today, I aim to talk about them and the impact Grandparents have in our lives. So let’s start.
Firstly, I could never have been the mother, I am if it wasn’t for them. I owe it to them for what I am today.
Parenting is no easy task. Every generation has its own problems, which the parents need to tackle.
However, if they are around, the pain is lessened to a great extent.
Secondly, the Grandparents act as a bridge between the parents and the new generation.
They pass down the ethics, history, and traditions to the generations to cherish them.
It is a great asset for our generations and they should take pride in it.
Thirdly, the love and affection of Grandparents for their grandchildren is manifold in so many ways.
At times, we as parents complain that we had a more strict course of action to follow as compared to our children.
Fourthly, they have so much to share in terms of experience and skills, even a lifetime looks less to learn from them.
Fifthly, the patience and determination borne by them have no alternative. As parents, children, every one of us should learn something from them be it small or big.
Sixth, grandparents are the real spoilers when it comes to children and we should not mind at all.
All year long, parents discipline their children according to them.
So really there is no harm if children can have their way around in the company of grandparents.
Seventh, children who do not have grandparents should adopt other people’s grandparents and see the miracles themselves.
A Visit to a destitute or a senior care home is always good.
And Lastly, grandparents only need our time and love.
We as children often fail to acknowledge their presence and forget to tell them how much we love them.
It is never too late to make amends. Time is ticking.
I would therefore like to reiterate that grandparents are a blessing in disguise. One needs to cherish them the way one cherishes their own children.
It is never too late to make amends and look for better days to come. Think about it.
Until next time, stay safe and happy.

LIVELIHOOD FOR WOMEN PRISONERS IN
PAKISTAN
Hello Folks!
Today, I aim at discussing means on how to improve Livelihood for women prisoners in Pakistan? So let’s start.
From the information available, it appears that women prisoners across the country have one thing in common a background of social disadvantage.
Whatever, the jail, women prisoners are the ones at the most impoverished end of the social spectrum who have led a life of social exclusion and abuse.
However, Skills Training Programs can raise the morality of women prisoners and decrease their loneliness.
Thus, increasing the odds of post-jail earning potential.
Secondly, unemployment is a predictor of criminal activity. So the skills training programs within the jail are quite handy for future stability.
Thirdly, those enrolled in education agree that access to education makes them feel worthy of themselves.
And it is the only time when they do not feel and treated like a prisoner.
Fourthly, small cottage industries need to be established for women prisoners rather than just the basic skills. The carpet weaving should be accessible to them too.
Fifthly, computer training has been added to the training menus of Pakistani Jails. However, they are taught via Word and not connected to the internet.
Those who have committed crimes using the internet are not allowed to participate in computer training.
Sixth, various trades and prison industries need to be initiated such as; training in handicrafts, sewing, knitting, weaving, bookbinding, tailoring, dyeing, soap making, food processing, and plastic flower making, etc.,
Seventh, wage-earning schemes for women prisoners in all jails can motivate the prisoners towards productive work.
And lastly, skill training coupled with Art therapy can work wonders on the state of mind.
In the end, I would like to say that women prisoners in Pakistan too can earn a decent livelihood in the post-release scenario if the prisons have adequate funding with controlled accountability.
And programs are tailor-made. The skillful workers need to have liaised with appropriate industries for the future.
The NGOs and like-minded people who have the skills can play a positive role in this direction. Think about it.
Happy Reading. Until next time; stay safe and healthy.

SUGAR COATED CANDY AND ITS IMPACT ON US
Hello Folks!
Most of us enjoy sugar coated candy without knowing the impacts it has on all of us.
Today, I aim to dive deep into the impacts of a sugar coated candy. So let us start.
Firstly, is the loss of self integrity when the leaders openly declare themselves as International beggars and ask for this sugar coated candy.
Secondly, this sugar coated candy comes with a price tag.A tag which the Nations have to bear till the end of time.
It is a burden which is borne by the generations yet to come.
Thirdly, the Nation comes at a weak footing. It no longer is in the mode of bargain but there is a tremendous shift from bargain to beggary.
Such is the impact of this sugar coated candy.
Fourthly, is the replacement of self- reliance towards an easy way out.
A whole breed of generation is bred who wants to try the sugar coated candy rather than learning from history.
And so the greed for the sugar coated candy goes on.
Fifthly, in the pipeline, the direction of the sugar coated candy is changed. The reason for which it was demanded in the first place now has other mouths to fill.
This, eventually loses its authenticity as a whole.
Sixth, is the conscientious and conscious man who is least of all affected by the sugar coated candy.
He is the one who challenges the order of the day and acts as a change maker.
Unfortunately, such people are like a pinch of salt in sugar.
In the end, I would like to reiterate that a country like Pakistan needs to rely on its own resources and build them.
The extra expedition and expenditures need to be curtailed to stop the regular flow of the sugar coated candy.
There should be targeted areas where investment is needed to have a strong hold. And Lastly, we should spend like a miser and utilize our resources like a clever wife.
Think about it.
Until next time, stay safe and healthy.
