SUGAR COATED CANDY AND ITS IMPACT ON US

Hello Folks!

Most of us enjoy sugar coated candy without knowing the impacts it has on all of us.

Today, I aim to dive deep into the impacts of a sugar coated candy. So let us start.

Firstly, is the loss of self integrity when the leaders openly declare themselves as International beggars and ask for this sugar coated candy.

Secondly, this sugar coated candy comes with a price tag.A tag which the Nations have to bear till the end of time.

It is a burden which is borne by the generations yet to come.

Thirdly, the Nation comes at a weak footing.It no longer is in the mode of bargain but there is a tremendous shift from bargain to beggary.

Such is the impact of this sugar coated candy.

Fourthly, is the replacement of self- reliance towards an easy way out.

A whole breed of generation is bred who wants to try the sugar coated candy rather than learning from history.

And so the greed for the sugar coated candy goes on.

Fifthly, in the pipeline, the direction of the sugar coated candy is changed.The reason for which it was demanded in the first place now has other mouths to fill.

This, eventually loses its authenticity as a whole.

Sixth, is the conscientious and conscious man who is least of all affected by the sugar coated candy.

He is the one who challenges the order of the day and acts as a change maker.

Unfortunately, such people are like a pinch of salt in sugar.

In the end, I would like to reiterate that a country like Pakistan needs to rely on its own resources and build them.

The extra expedition and expenditures need to be curtailed to stop the regular flow of the sugar coated candy.

There should be targeted areas where investment is needed to have a strong hold. And Lastly, we should spend like a miser and utilize our resources like a clever wife.

Think about it.

AND HUMAN INTERACTION

Hello Folks!

We all know this is the digital age from our day to day experiences.

Today, I aim to discuss the link between Digital Communication and Human Interactions.So lets start.

Firstly,Digital Communications has made our lives easier to a great extent.

It is a means of fostering human interactions in a variety of areas.

Secondly, we meet a lot of people via Digital Communication and get to know them.

These interactions may be personal ,impersonal or even business related.All having their own outcomes.

Thirdly,through digital communications people are able to form Online Communities.

Each communities having their own code of conduct and interest levels.

Such communities provide everyone an opportunity to link with like minded people and be comfortable while communicating with them.

Fourthly, people can develop their interests and skills by joining certain groups and interacting with people of similar likes and dislikes.

Such relationships are fostered both digitally and via human interactions in the form of learning and sharing.

Another link between Digital Communication and human interaction is the way it helps us in exploring the world through the comfort of our homes.

Sixth,via digital communication has provided an opportunity to make lasting friendships irrespective of cultures,race and creed.

Seventh,the element of Human interaction should not be undermined.We are first humans and then comes technology.

And Lastly,Technology should only be used as a means to facilitate Human Interaction.

It should not make Human Interaction dependent on Digital Communication.

It can thus be concluded that Digital Communication should be used only to facilitate Human Interactions rather than replacing them.

Make time for the ones you love and like to be with.Make online communities but also take out time to go and meet them.

See them in person.That is the real learning and exploring.

In Pakistan, Digital communication is used more for flirting or taking advantage of the other person as much as one can.

This concept needs to change here.

People need to have an open eye for the pros and cons while communicating.

We should only communicate with the ones we feel comfortable with and have a established code of ethics.

THE ROLE OF MEDIA IN TODAY’S SCENARIO

Hello Folks!

We often hear people talking about Media Literacy.Today, I aim to talk about Media Literacy and its role in today’s scenario.

In the wake of COVID-19, what role it is playing is our main concern and this is what I aim to talk about today. Let’s start.

Media Literacy is a repertoire of competences that enables people to analyze,evaluate and create messages in a wide variety of media modes ,genre and forms.

Education for Media Literacy uses an inquiry based pedagogic model that encourages people to ask questions about what they watch, hear and read.

Secondly, Media Literacy is a contributing tool to help learners and professionals alike to broaden their perspective and experiences of media.

This helps them develop their creative skills and form their point of view on media messages.

Thirdly, Nowadays, all channels are overwhelmed with the news of COVID-19 and things related to it.But my question is,is it helping?

On a larger scale ,the masses have gone in the state of panic.There is so much positive to show but the Media’s focus is on bringing out the negative with a slice of positivism.

Fourthly, with every segment of the News that is on air, there is an increasing number of awe.Awe in the form of shortage of goods,of staple foods, of ruining of businesses ,of a bright future and what not.

Fifthly,is the overall impact on psychology.People need to hear positive things not just death tolls or raising cases or even everything is under control.

We are the people of this country and we deserve to know what we are heading for and what steps we need to take before going into a nervous breakdown.

Sixth, People around the globe are facing COVID-19 and have taken due measures to face the pandemic.Media everywhere, nonetheless is the same but what makes the difference is the ones running it.

You can have both scenarios. One where Media is state controlled and everything that is being aired has to be filtered first and the second scenario is Pakistan’s case.

Throw everything up and front.Besides sympathies, one might be able to draw International attention with donations and funds.Let aside the ego and stress,the people will be facing.They will find a way to address their grievances.

Lastly, every one of us needs to play our part in this scenario.This requires individual efforts of like minded people.

We need to stay positive and keep that positive environment around us.Media too needs to work on its strategies of airing News.

In the end, I would like to say that people look at media for the type of protection it can provide our future generations in making healthy choices regarding media consumption and usage patterns rather than turning them into mere vagabonds.

Think about it.
