THE CORE INGREDIENT FOR HEALTH AND SUCCESS

 

Islam gives us a complete code of life. Being a Muslim, there are certain things which one has to abstain from, at all costs and some things one needs to practice daily to become healthy and successful. Today, I am going to discuss the core ingredient for health and success and its practice.

The very first is our belief in the Oneness of the creator (ALLAH) and that the Prophet (P.B.U.H) is His last messenger. We have a firm belief in the pillars of Islam and follow it. As far as our health is concerned, there are certain foods, drinks we need to abstain from.

Alcohol is prohibited in Islam. One of the reasons, being the effects it has on the human brain. It intoxicates the mind leaving no room for what is right and wrong. It can only be used, if need be, for medical purposes.

Secondly, eating of   Pork is prohibited in Islam. From health point of view, it causes vomiting, abdominal cramps and dehydration which is fatal in extreme cases.

Thirdly, Islam emphasizes on the practice of   Moderation. Be it in the form of eating, drinking or even a lifestyle. One should always be moderate in what one chooses. As far as eating is concerned, according to a Hadith, one third of the stomach should always be kept empty for breathing. The reason for this is that anything in excess leads to destruction as far as health is concerned. And excess eating leads to weight gain and obesity

Fourthly, Islam emphasizes on the Habit of washing hands before and after a meal. One should not use a towel for drying as it may cause transmitting of bacteria and other viruses from common use.

Fifthly, is the practice of offering Salat , five times a day. It is a responsibility and has great many health benefits. By offering salat, our body is in the continuous habit of doing light exercises, which helps in digestion especially after meals. Thus keeping us healthy.

Sixthly, Honey has numerous health benefits. The benefits of honey cannot be undermined for the, great many qualities that it possesses. In Muslim cultures, it is used as a divine medicine for a great many ailments. It is also used as detoxification for drug users. It is used in the treatment of eating of poisonous plants. As a preservative, it is used to preserve meat, pickles, fruits etc., It is also used for whitening the teeth. It strengthens the gums and prevents it from gum diseases if used as a mouth wash.

Seventhly, Blood keeps us going, as it flows in our veins. However, if this blood enters our digestive system, it will become toxic. It is for this very reason the blood of the slaughtered animal requires to be drained out completely before it is eaten. Blood is rich in iron, which the human digestive system cannot consume in large quantities. Moreover, an excess to iron can cause liver damage, dehydration, low blood pressure, and nervous disorders.

Eighthly, another practice which can make us healthy and successful is the daily consumption of Black seeds. According to our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), “It has the cure to everything except death”. It reduces obesity, helps in digestion and cures several stomach disorders. The black seed oil reduces inflammation and swelling in joints.

Ninthly, another practice, we must follow is Fasting during the month of  Ramdan. It has many health benefits. One of the foremost being release of toxins from the body thus cleansing it. It gives our body rest and reduces our weight as well.

And lastly, we must have a short nap in the day as it gives rests to our vital organs especially our mind and heart.

In the end, I would like to conclude that if we practice Islam in the proper way by following the teachings of Quran and Sunnah, we undoubtedly will be more healthy and successful.

Do not exhaust your money and energy with the products people say are available for weight loss with no side effects. I will tell you some of the hard learned secrets which will give you results with no illnesses yet more success. If you can follow these 5 tips, you will thank me later. Let’s discuss them one by one.

Firstly, you need to make a list of good friends. You might be thinking what do friends have got to do with weight loss, though they are indirectly involved in your health but here I am not talking about people rather I am talking about eating and drinking healthy items. And the foremost is to be a friend of water. Water is an important component in our body and most of the functions in our body are directly affected if we do not consume a good amount of water. Drinking water before meals and early morning on an empty stomach works wonders on our system. No one can drink more than 2 -3 glasses in the morning. So do not over due it, remain moderate.

Secondly, if you want to be free from any kind of illness, then if not already switch to a healthy eating life style. Store items in your cabinets which are nutritious yet healthy. A diet filled with the right amount of Proteins, fibers, minerals, nuts etc., will give you what you are looking for; weight loss. A healthy  platter on your table, filled with fruits, pulses and vegetables will keep the illnesses away for a longer period of time.

Thirdly, you might be familiar with the concept of fasting. It is very popular among the Muslim countries and is observed for a whole month that is 30 days in the Holy month of Ramzan. I would not go into the details rather what I am trying to reiterate here is the benefits it has on the body. The work, detox diets do on the body, fasting alone is sufficient to do that work. One can observe fast for a couple of hours and then eat something healthy. It might be difficult in the start especially for those who have never tried it before. Overall, it is a workable tip for weight loss.

Fasting is one of the best ways to eliminate the toxins present in the body for quite some time. You will feel like a new person and love yourself. But you have to be open to other culture practices.

Fourthly, try eating slowly. Consume a healthy diet but eat it slowly by chewing every morsel of food. Do not rush while eating. Why?  The reason is by chewing slowly, the food will be easily processed in the stomach without putting much pressure on the stomach to do the work. And also you will be training your mind to eat less. The more hurriedly you eat your food, the more time is required in digestion which in turns put a lot of pressure on the stomach to digest it. So the result would be when it is time for your lunch or dinner, there still would be food sitting in your stomach; not leaving any room for the newly eaten food. As a result you will feel bloated and feel like throwing up leading to an illness, obviously. So eat slowly, eat healthy and eat less.

And Lastly, try to inculcate appropriate exercises in your daily routine for 15 minutes or even 30 minutes. Divide the slots for the exercises to be done. Like you can do one set waking up in the morning ;yet another set while you are at work or even after office time or as the case may be.

If you would inculcate these 5 tips in your life, I assure you, you will lose weight and you will not face illness. Stay happy and healthy.

HEALTHY ON THE GO SNACKS TO HAVE A

SUCCESSFUL LIFE

To have a successful life, we need to incorporate healthy on the go snacks. As an individual, I would never recommend, just pick and fetch snacks on the go. Rather, I would recommend snacks which everyone can prepare the night before or even in the morning. There are so many things to prepare. Can be fruit bars, or dark chocolate cookies, or smoothies, or vegetables stuffed. Whatever, it is, it has to be healthy. Let us discuss some of the healthy snacks that one can take with them.

 

Firstly, one should always make a time table on weekly basis as what is their schedule in the coming week; whether they will have ample time to cook a detailed meal or not. If schedule is very hard to make for the regular meals, then we all fall back on the healthy snacks. Since we all live in an age where time is running, we have to look after our dietary requirements. Smoothies are quicker to prepare and full of energy and antioxidants. One can always freeze a fruit a night before and early morning prepare a smoothie by adding mint or nuts to it.

 

Secondly, one can make a seasonal fruit salsa and take it to one’s working place or so. Fruits not only fill the stomach but have great nutritional value as well. They also satisfy the sweet tooth because they have natural sugars in them. Even fruit bars are a treat. They are simple and easy to prepare. You can simply prepare them in a microwave or even without one. I will share some of my favorite recipes in the article related to how to prepare healthy snack recipes?

 

Thirdly, cookies are something every kid and adult likes to eat. For a conscious adult, cookies combined with dark chocolate and nuts are just yum. Keeping in mind the calories intake, one can always combine their favorite nuts or berries with the chocolate. Even thinking about it, makes my mouth water. This is one of a healthy go snacks.

 

Fourthly, Chia  pudding too is fulfilling and has quite a good amount of fiber, proteins and minerals to provide energy. Chia seeds can either be used alone or accompanied by blue berries, banana and almonds. One can add a variety according to ones liking and through exploring. Only through exploring and experimenting can one find ones liking and what one may be allergy too.

 

Fifthly, if one has a savory tooth, one can always make a chicken pea and black bean salsa. It not only fills the stomach but also gives energy to carry out daily activities. Both these pulses keeps the hunger away for a long time. One can also bake them and use in the form of bars.

 

Sixthly, boiled eggs stuffed in tomatoes, slightly seasoned and baked are excellent go on snacks. They are fulfilling and nutritious. Eggs have great health benefits and are a good source of vitamins. They are good for even weight loss. And  tomatoes too have a great many health benefits; one mainly, it detoxifies the body and works well on the skin and prevents eye diseases.

 

Lastly, one can also prepare yogurt fruit pops, refrigerate them and take with them where ever one goes. It is not only unique but is altogether an experience worth remembering. All snacks if they serve the right purpose; which is a healthy life can become a successful life.

 

Healthy on go snacks, are not something one can find on the shelves. They need to be prepared on a hygienic level as well as home prepared and freshly made lasting for 3 to 5 days maximum. Plus, these snacks should be free from any kind of preservative. Only, then can we call such snacks healthy on the go snacks leading to have a successful life.
