EFFECT OF FASTING ON A WORKING INDIVIDUAL

Hello Folks!

We all know that Fasting in the month of Ramadan has a multitude of benefits regarding physical, spiritual, and mental benefits. Without undermining the benefits, I will lay my focus on the effect Fasting has on a working individual. So let’s start.

The first effect Fasting has on a working individual is the impossibility to maintain a balance between work and personal life. Still, people manage without complaining as it is God who will reward them for this virtue.

Secondly, while Fasting, it is very difficult to write about anything. It is like all ideas are in the state of fasting. It took me nearly 2 hours to get here at this point.

Third effect that Fasting has on an individual is that after a certain time of the day, the mind fails to even think about what one wants to say. That is the time when one only reverts to solitude and thinks about what is expected from him as a believer.

Fifthly, the effects may vary from person to person depending on the number of responsibilities a person has to perform. Some may experience nothing at all but most may.

Sixth, Fasting takes us to greater levels of self-exploration and to understand the whole concept of Fast. People may interpret fast according to their culture and religion but there is a need of going beyond basic interpretations and understand the manifold benefits.

And Lastly, one needs to go through these effects only to be more grateful to what God Almighty has given us in terms of blessings. As an individual, I will thank Almighty for allowing me to observe fast and observe myself and let others know the effects it has on a working, responsible individual.

There is nothing wrong with accepting what you cannot do while fasting. Focus on what you can do and make the best of that time. That is the true essence of fasting. Think about it.https://www.sabahataamir.com/the-core/

Until next time stay safe and healthy.

JOURNEY OF THE SOUL;

UPCLOSE AND PERSONAL

Hello Folks!

Today, I will share with you the life story of a woman who went through many struggles in her life to be the person that she now is and from whose blogs, you take great inspiration.

It’s a journey of the soul. So let the curtains unveil.

Born in a family of four siblings, always treated lesser, based on skin tone and intelligence, a forceps delivery, as I was told was the reason for my being the way I am. I weaved a castle of imagination around me.

journey of the soul

I lived in that imaginary world where I was a hero and made an impact on society.

I had to struggle to fit in with my surroundings and the school at large. Low in confidence and always being bullied by the better, posh, and popular lot.

Still determined to prove myself one day.

I was still my father’s favorite. He loved me despite my looks and intelligence and I loved him selflessly.

As I grew older and took interest in subjects of my liking, I began to excel in my studies and finding like-minded people like me who saw my capabilities and not my flaws.

JOURNEY OF THE SOUL

All my childhood, I suffered from comparisons and not being good enough but my innate nature couldn’t be changed that is spreading happiness around and helping ones like me, I could in my own way.

Even at this time, at the age of 43, people who I call family, say mean things to me. My family (blood bindings) whom I have always put first then my own family (husband and children).

Have tried to keep them happy, still off and on, have been blamed for the embezzlement of money, and other mean things, just because I take care of my old father.

Most of the time, I listen to them just thinking, maybe I am living in my fathers’ house with my family for my father gives everyone the right to treat me that way.

My children often get emotional and angry saying that why don’t you tell them what you tell us? Why can’t they just leave you alone? Next time so and so khala (aunt)does this, we will tell them.

And I always tell them that it is bad manners and Allah is looking and He will take care of them.

They too suffer because they see their mother suffering at the hands of her loved ones. Though children, they want to say things to them but then think about how, I will feel, stop and take their distances.

I can’t erase the harsh talk out of their minds and let them think all is good. They have to face the bitter reality of life, only to be stronger in the future.

Off and on there have been times where I have desperately felt the need of being independent and telling everyone that I am not dependent on them or their mercy.

Many times in my life, I have fallen and got back again on my foot, thinking about what kind of life I want for my children.

I can sense the dejection going into my children. They were not brought into this world to go through the demise, I am going through.

I want them to have a smooth life and am willing to make/making the necessary sacrifices for their good future.

We have just one life and we have to utilize it to the best of our capabilities. I want to utilize all my talents, help other people along the way and show them a beacon of light.

The purpose of this blog is to motivate the fallen souls who think that being born in a good wealthy family is a privilege. Well, folks, it’s not.

Some learn it the easy way and some learn it the hard way. The more close we are to our basics, the easy it is for us to excel.

One is a prince or princess till the parents are alive as after them or when they themselves are dependent, you are no one’s prince or princess, not even your husband owns you.

You and you alone have to make this difference.“Thinking is the talking of the soul with itself”https://www.brainyquote.com/topics/soul-quotes.

My journey of the soul is an ongoing journey and I have traveled a long way to reach this point now, from what I was 5 years back to the new version of me now.

I have come a long way, learned a lot from like-minded, transformed a lot with mentors, and groomed a lot with the help of sincere and honest friends and readers like you.

Life is not a bed of roses. It never has been.

Struggling, yet determined woman on the run to make a difference in the lives around me and those who look at me in infancy.

I am a wife, a daughter, a sister, a mother, and to many an influencer, a challenge who is changing the way of thinking at large.

I say what I think is right and practice what I believe is right. I don’t do comparisons, am not judgemental. I am the same person for all, whoever approaches.

Being an empath, I can feel what others can’t say because I go through the same feelings every day by connecting to people. We all have a purpose in this world.

My purpose is to ease other people’s life. And make them want to live their life constructively.

I am no counselor, just a human being who understands a multitude of emotions, a good friend, and a listening ear.

As an individual, I would recommend all the fallen angels suffering from meanness find a source you can, use as catharsis, your life will change. It changed mine.https://www.sabahataamir.com/catharsis-2/

As humans, let’s help each other to come out of their shells, have a voice and be productive in meaningful ways.

Think about it.

Until next time, stay safe and healthy.

WHEN WILL I BREATHE AGAIN?

THE BLAME GAME

Hello Folks!

Long time since my last post. I have missed you all tremendously. Today, I aim at bringing to your real-life experiences, the entity named women/girl/daughter/sister/wife, etc., faces at large.

A thorough violation of Human Rights. https://www.hrw.org/world-report/2021/country-chapters/pakistan#  So let’s start.

With the backdrop of incidents going on in my part of the world, a question that keeps occurring in my mind and others ‘ too, is when will the time, in reality, come when I too will breathe again.

The events that have been taking place for the past many weeks are so traumatizing for the concerned that they have made our everyday lives a living hell.

And you know what the most pinching thing is that the authorities know who is at fault yet they do a lip service settling it under the carpet?

My question for the literate and illiterate alike is that when will the time come when the woman is not the target and the blame game will end?

Till which time will the degeneration of values come to an end. https://www.sabahataamir.com/degenerating-values-and-the-youth/

And the so-called Human Rights will be enforced in real? Where are we heading as a nation?

Frankly, nowhere.Towards, doom. That is the place where we are going.

Unless and until the factors that are giving heed to the blame game comes to an end, we as women, can’t breathe in this polluted society.

With the ever-growing series of events, many highs positioned, and career-oriented women are sitting in their homes.

Either they are relying on passive income or facing the daily blame game for not being good enough to run a home or bring up well-mannered children.

Where is it written that bringing up children is only the responsibility of a woman? In our part of the world, the rules only apply to the female Gender who are blamed for everything especially using her brain.

As a man, you should actually be thankful, there is someone who has a brain in the mind that thinks and not a penis that works for one’s pleasure only.

This is our society at large. Here only 10% would be the ones who really have a brain instead of a thinking penis.

The rest is the cult, only following their penis’, violating the respect and self of a woman, and being defended and set free at the end of the day.

As a woman, I fail to breathe at the hands of this male chauvinist society where a minor girl wearing an abaya is raped and it is the fault of the girl because her clothes were inviting.

In an Islamic country, how can a fully covered body be entertaining and inviting to be raped?

Nonetheless, our national dress is the shalwar kameez, which is mostly a fully covered dress. How can such a dress invite the oppressors to harass a woman? It is simply madness to this blame game.

Being an influencer, or activist of an ambassador or officer or a prime Minister, etc., does not entitle a male entity to go beyond all moral standards and display an act of animosity where the only thing working is their penis’.

The need of the time is a changed mindset and the end to the blame game. How can one expect the youth of today to be leaders of the future?

The time demand the male gender to be raised as a responsible citizen https://www.sabahataamir.com/tips-on-grooming-boys-sons-part-i/ and not as a burden on the society.

If society as a whole takes the responsibility of keeping an eye on the wrong and reporting it on time instead of watching and being a spectator to the ongoing crime, only then can women/girls, at large be able to breathe again.

As a mother, a wife, an activist, an educationist, I see the fear penetrating everywhere especially within girls as to whether going out of their house walls can be their last day?

Did we bear, our girls for this day to see the cruel, animous and faceless, face of this society?

Or did we demand a separate home where we can live in a land which we can call our own and practice the charter of human rights?

If this is going to be the cost of demanding our birthright then give us the necessary tools too, to keep ourselves and our kind safe too.

And if the authorities can’t do that then give your places to those who can in reality serve their duty or wait for Revolutions to take place. As there is a limit to the blame game. Think about it before it is too late.

Until next time, stay safe and healthy.
