SIGNS/SYMBOLS

Hello Folks!

I have often wondered why is it said, one should always look for signs/symbols? Over the years, I have come to understand the reason for this.

Today, I aim at talking about signs/symbols and how they affect our day to day life. So let’s start.

As an individual, in our day to day life, I observe and look for signs/symbols that can smooth one’s life. And believe me, these signs are very transparent.

You just need to respond to them.

Most of the time, we are alone in life. We may not have parents who can attend to our problems or needs or siblings or our marital relations.

It is these signs/symbols that pull us through these times.

I would rather say that it is God in one or the other form who is protecting us from evil and bad that is spread out in the world and society at large.

We, as individuals and as a whole need to have a positive bent of mind to grasp these signs and symbols. Positivity always draws positivity, remember that.

In our day to day conversation with people at large, we come across all kinds of people.

I would recommend all of you to have a positive approach towards people. You never know, with what bent of mind they are approaching you.

They might be in grave need of talking to someone or might be going through some trouble in their financial lives. Don’t worry they will not ask for your money.WHY?

The reason is if they have self-respect, they will always offer you their skill in response to which you in return will offer them money. It is a two-way trade and you my friend, need to be vigilant to assess this.

The internet is full of fake and fraud people, I know and have seen much-extorting money from the innocent in the name of help and all kind of stories. Use your brain and don’t become prey to their sugar-coated tongue.

All the same, I would not deny the fact that this is the trouble times, and you never know, who around the corner is in desperate need and approaches you.

There are times when you need to listen to your heart than your mind and this is the reason why I reiterate on looking for signs/symbols around you.

And let me tell you one more thing, it is the Creator’s will to put fear and sympathy for the needy in your heart. Keep on doing your share without thinking for a moment, what will happen next.

There is a reason for people and events to come your way. Sometimes, you become a beacon of light for others, and sometimes it is vice versa. Whatever, the scenario, adapt accordingly.

Our Holy Book, again and again, refers us to look for signs and read between the lines. For, there is a clue for those who seek. Think about it.

CATHARSIS

Hello Folks!

What do you think is the most difficult thing to do in life? I know, you too will be thinking of the same thing. It is Catharsis. So, today, I aim at talking about catharsis and how to deal with it. So, let’s start.

Every one of us now and then has to face the music in one or the other form. Real success is how you as an individual deal with it. Most of our pains come from our core family as compared to the outside world.

These are the pains that torment our entire being in and out. What matters at the end is how we pull through the stress and torment.

It is a sorry state of affairs when one sees blood relations turning against you on the account of finances especially when you serve the treasure as the most honest being.

Money can undoubtedly turn a friend to a foe and blood relations to your worse enemies. As an individual, I have seen and heard people killing their sacrosanct relatives for the love of money.

The more you have it, the less you think about the feelings and pains of the other.

Those of you who have a less amount of money, be contented with it, and don’t ask for more because you have not seen the worst it can bring out of you.

And even if you do ask for it, never forget from where you started; as a reminder always help us in achieving ultimate goals and making us realize who our real well-wishers are.

Always rely on your sole self without looking at the hands of other people. During your life journey, you may come across many good people. Be welcoming to them and accept them for you never know they might be more truthful then your blood relations.

And rely on your capabilities and the help of God. For all happens in this life and the hereafter at His will.

The trapped emotions and pain can only find their way out in the form of Catharsis. Now it’s up to you how you make way for it. The most productive way is to let it out in the form of tears.

All your sorrows and pain will be out in no time and you will feel lighter.

Also, talk to someone you trust. Someone who is a good listener. Someone who knows you and can understand your emotions and pain. Not everyone wants to know your pain.

Some will share your pain but will want something in return. Be aware of the kind. You might be walking in a dead-end before you know it.

Crying, my friends is not a weakness. It only shows that you are a human and can feel the bullshit of people.

So whenever, you can’t handle the pressure just let tears trickle down your cheeks and let it out.

You should always know that there is no power greater than God Himself. Revert to Him. He will answer your prayers and pay you in the most unexpected forms.

DONOR AGENCIES: A FARCE OR REALITY

Hello Folks!

Every now and then, I keep on hearing about donor agencies who are doing such and such work for strengthening the position of women and addressing their issues.

Today, I aim at talking about these agencies,their sincerities in reality and see whether they are a farce or reality. So let’s start.

Firstly, International Organizations such as the United Nations and National Governments have started acknowledging women in their policies.

Due to the long struggle by women activists, now the International Development agencies along with the Government departments have started paying heed to women’s issues.

Secondly, the donor agencies invite the women activist to come forward and help the agencies to draw up policies for women.

The agencies adopt a cautious approach while dealing with women’s issues.

Thirdly, the focus of the donor agencies is to work within the system to make it work and thus promote women’s rights.

However, sometimes the view and approach of the agencies clash with the personal view of the activists.

Who believe that the condition of the women can only change by radical restructuring of power and gender relations at every level of the society.

Fourthly, many observers have witness a great change in the women movement since women activists began helping the International Development agencies and Government departments.

They have become faces of the same coin as they have too little energy and time left for their activism anymore.

They are embedded within the system and no longer can criticize the policies and approaches of these agencies as they now serve the donors manifesto.

Fifthly, women activists are accountable to these agencies and lose their political edge regarding redressal of women issues which makes the donor agencies a farce in reality.

Sixth, participation of women activists in these agencies should strengthen women movement rather than weakening their place.

Women working in these places need to use their influence to change the policies according to our environment for it to work.

And Lastly, Womens movement has moved from being a movement and is institutionalised and has become a part of establishment.

Women groups are now institutions,feminist are members of the establishment.

And one can see a ray of hope where women are being included in Decision making process and state structures.

However, in the end I would like to say that the women movement cannot be helped by the aid of the donor agencies.It has to heal from within.

It has to reflect upon itself otherwise it will be forced to tread the manifesto of the donor undermining its true worth.

Not all Donor agencies fall under the same umbreella.The exceptions are always there to look up to and considered as a model.They are for real and not a farce.
